Background: Patient satisfaction has now become a major component in evaluating the different concerns of patients which are not only related to patient’s health but also co-relates with the quality of organization. It seems that satisfaction in physical therapy is also concerned with the gender in many health care corporations. Objective: To compare the patient satisfaction with physiotherapy care between male and female patients of Sialkot. Methods: This comparative cross-sectional study was conducted from Febuary to August, 2022 at different public and private hospitals in Sialkot. Non-probability simple convenient sampling technique was used and data was collected from different hospitals of Sialkot by taking informed consent prior to data collection. The Med Risk instrument was used as a data collection tool which was based on a 12-item questionnaire and data was analyzed by using SPSS 16. The mean and standard deviation and independent-t test was used for the comparison of physiotherapy care between male and female patients. P-value ≤. 05 was taken as statistically significant. Results: Out of 260 patients, 95(36.54%0 were male and 165(63.46%) were female. By comparing the total mean score 47.78±13.75 of patient satisfaction between male and female it determines significantly a higher level of satisfaction. while the satisfaction level of male patients mean score was 48.77±5.22 and females was 45.98±5.58. The factors which show a significant difference between male and female patient satisfaction are waiting area, therapist did not spend enough time, therapist treats me respectfully, therapist answers all my questions and returns to this office for future services with a p-value of. 00. Conclusion: The results of our study show a significant importance of male and female variables in patient satisfaction, in which both male and female patients show an overall higher level of satisfaction but males were more satisfied in some factors as compared to females.
