AbstractThe synthesis of collagen–hydroxyapatite composites has been carried out, and the biocompatibility and osteoconductivity properties have been tested. This research was conducted to determine the ability of hydroxyapatite–collagen composites to support the bone growth through the graft surface. Hydroxyapatite used in this study was synthesized from coral with a purity of 96.6%, while collagen was extracted from the chicken claw. The process of forming a scaffold of collagen–hydroxyapatite composites was carried out using the freeze-drying method at −80°C for 4 h. The biocompatibility characteristics of the sample through the cytotoxicity tests showed that the percentage of viable cells in collagen–hydroxyapatite biocomposite was 108.2%, which is higher than the percentage of viable cells of hydroxyapatite or collagen material. When the viable cell is above 100%, collagen–hydroxyapatite composites have excellent osteoconductivity as a material for bone regeneration.

Fall armyworm or Spodoptera frugiperda (J.E Smith) is a significant economic pest of maize. S. frugiperda is reported for the first time to attack and damage the corn in Indonesia since 2019. The study was aimed to find the effectivity of chlorantraniliprole to control the larvae of S. frugiperda on maize. The study was divided into two steps, in the laboratory and the field. The laboratory treatment was application of chlorantraniliprole 2 cc/l, Metarhizium anisopliae (10⁸ conidia/ml), and Beauveria bassiana (10⁸ conidia/ml) that applied onto the leaf, larvae, and leaf + larvae with five replications for each treatment. The field test used three treatments i.e., chlorantraniliprole field, farmer field, and control with three replications for each treatment. The research showed that chlorantraniliprole at a dose of 2 cc/l had the highest mortality of S. frugiperda with 100% mortality on average during five days after application. However, the application of M. anisopliae and B. bassiana did not affect the mortality of S. frugiperda for 3 days after application. There was no difference in mortality when chlorantraniliprole applied onto leaf, larvae and leaf + larvae. Application of chlorantraniliprole in the field at a dose of 2 cc/l at 1, 3, and 5 weeks after planting was effective to control S. frugiperda on maize.

Data collection using observation and in-depth interviews. This research was conducted in Raudlatul Athfal Umi Sundari Kraksaan Probolinggo. The results of this study indicate that the design of video blogs in developing the character of early childhood includes: first, determining video content. The video design used is attractive to early childhood. Second, the target character. Early childhood development programs that must be achieved through video vlog design in accordance with the basic competencies of early childhood. Third, public. The process of uploading videos that have been made in developing the character of early childhood. The implication in early childhood character education is that the use of technology and information media, one of which is a video blog, can make it easier for teachers to convey messages or character values ​​in it.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat protein ransum dan lama pencahayaan terhadap bobot potong, persentase karkas dan non karkas pada burung puyuh jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan puyuh jantan umur 4 minggu berjumlah 275 ekor dengan rataan bobot badan 80 ± 0,07 gram (CV=9,00). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok pola petak terbagi dengan petak utama berupa penambahan cahaya C0 12 jam (18.00-06.00 WIB), C1 6 jam (18.00-00.00 WIB) dan C2 4 jam (18.00-22.00 WIB) sedangkan anak petaknya berupa tingkat protein dalam ransum P1 yaitu 18%, P2 20% dan P3 22%. Tiap kelompok diulang sebanyak 3 kali dan setiap petak terdiri 10 ekor. Variabel yang diamati adalah bobot potong, persentase karkas dan persentase non karkas. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa tingkat protein berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap persentase non karkas tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot potong dan persentase karkas sedangkan cahaya berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap persentase karkas tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot potong dan persentase non karkas.

After being observed as a whole, Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park has a high diversity of Ferns. This research aims to describe ferns in the Ciwalen Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park, so it is hopefully could describe the diversity of ferns in that path. The Inventory of ferns is done by using exploration method with random sampling technique which then identified with General Key to Malayan Fern referral. The results of this research showed that there are ten types of ferns that have been founded in the Ciwalen Gunung Gede Panggrango National Park, such as Sphaerostephanos sp., Asplenium truncata, Nephrolepis davallioides, Botrychium daucifolium, Selaginella opaca, Huperzia phlegmaria, Equisetum ramosissimum, Didymochlaena truncatula, Hymenophyllum sp., and Diplazium poliferum. Features any distinctive Ferns can be seen from the form such as rhizome, type of frond, an accessory, the sorus, habitats that were found and others.
