In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of different plant growth regulators on the biochemical contents of the "Hayward" kiwi variety. Methods and Results: In accordance with this purpose, the vines were given 50 ml 100L -1 Forchlorfenuron (CPPU) after five weeks from full bloom, 20 ppm Gibberellic acid (GA3) and 2 mM Oxalic acid (OA) before six weeks from harvest, 25 ppm Indolbutyric acid (IBA) and 50 ppm Perlan after six weeks from full bloom. The fruits collected as a result of the applications were evaluated in terms of total total soluble sugar contents (SSC), juice acidity (pH), titratable acid (TEA), Vitamin C, total phenolic and flavonoid contents. Conclusions: After the applications, there were no statistically significant differences in the contents of the TSS, but it was determined that IBA and GA3 applications increased the pH value and this increase was statistically significant. It was found that there were increases in Perlan, IBA and OA values when compared with the control application in titrable acidity value. In our study on kiwi fruit, which is known to be rich in vitamin C, it has been proven once again that it contains high levels of vitamin C and it has been found to be compatible with the literature values. In the research, decreases occurred in total phenolic and total flavonoid values. Significance and Impact of the Study: In the research were investigated to effects of plant growth regulators on the biochemical properties of kiwi fruit. Kiwifruit, which has beneficial effects on human health, is rich in biochemical contents and has characteristic features.
Bu çalışma 2019 yılı vegetasyon döneminde Bartın ilinde bulunan, 12 yaşındaki Hayward kivi çeşidinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada 5 farklı bitki büyüme düzenleyicisinin (50 ppm CPPU, 20 ppm giberellik asit (GA 3 ), 196 ppm oksalik asit (OA), 25 ppm indol bütirik asit (IBA), ve 50 ppm Perlan ) meyve kalitesi üzerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda tüm uygulamaların meyve ağırlığı ve boyunu kontrole göre önemli düzeyde arttırdığı saptanmıştır. Perlan, CPPU ve GA 3 uygulamaları kontrole göre meyve kalınlığını artırmıştır. Çalışmada en sert meyve etinin 8,93 N ile IBA uygulamasında elde edildiği, bunu 8,73 N ile OA uygulamasının takip ettiği belirlenmiştir. En düşük meyve eti sertliği değeri ise 7,37 N ile CPPU uygulamasında elde edilmiştir. GA 3 , CPPU ve Perlan uygulamalarının kivilerde yeşil rengi olumlu yönde etkilediği saptanmıştır. Sonuçta Hayward kivi çeşidinde tüm uygulamaların meyve iriliğini artırdığı, en sert meyvelerin IBA uygulamalarında elde edildiği ve kivi için önem arz eden yeşil rengin GA 3 uygulamasında en iyi sonucu verdiği tespit edilmiştir.
