This study is carried out due to the differences in the pronunciation of song lyrics between dangdut and pop singers. For example, dangdut singers pronounce the word /cinta/ in "Saat Terakhir" by ST12 as [cInta], while pop singers pronounce it as [c h Inc h a]. The data were from "Saat Terakhir" by ST12 sung by Charly Van Houten and Lesti Kejora as they have a quite similar voice color. This study focuses on the acoustic-phonetic differences of the two singers including (a) duration, (b) frequency or pitch, and (3) intensity or voice. The data were obtained through downloading the song and analyzed using acoustic-phonetic theory with the help of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) for phonetic transcription and Praat software for acoustic-phonetic analysis. The results indicate that in terms of pronunciation, the pop singer adds aspirated sounds of [ h ] to phonemes of /c/, /t/, and /d/ and pronounce the sound /t/ to [c h ] and [t h ], while the Dangdut singer tends to pronounce them in accordance with the rules of the language. The Dangdut singer tend to sing longer than pop singers with a duration of 42.067394 microseconds. Further, the Dangdut singer has a higher tone frequency than the pop singer of 533.2434584525848 Hz. Meanwhile, the pop singer has a higher voice loudness than the Dangdut singer with a scale of 86.16124255533789 dB.
This study aims to describe the level of loyalty, pride, and knowledge of YouTubers in the Sundanese language in the YouTube Fiksi channel. This study used a qualitative-quantitative descriptive approach. The data were in the form of YouTuber’s utterances obtained from the YouTube Fiksi channel. The findings of this study covered two aspects, namely the language attitude and vitality of Sundanese. First, the language attitude of the YouTuber showed positive attitudes characterized by (1) the attitudes of loyalty to Sundanese (75.7%), (2) attitudes of pride in Sundanese (8.7%), and (3) attitudes of awareness of Sundanese norms (15.7%). Second, the status of the vitality of the Sundanese on the YouTube Fiksi channel was safe. The use of the pattern dengan-, di-, and untuk- showed that Sundanese is intensely used by YouTuber to communicate with speech partners.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tingkat kesetiaan, kebanggaan, dan pengetahuan YouTuber terhadap bahasa Sunda dan vitalitas budaya Sunda di Kanal YouTube Fiksi. Metodologi deskriptif kualitatif-kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tuturan YouTuber yang diambil dari kanal YouTube Fiksi dijadikan sebagai data penelitian ini. Ada dua temuan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu sikap bahasa dan vitalitas bahasa Sunda. Pertama, sikap berbahasa YouTuber dibedakan atas sikap positif yang dibuktikan oleh (1) sikap loyalitas terhadap bahasa Sunda sebesar 75,7%, (2) sikap bangga terhadap bahasa Sunda sebesar 8,7%, dan (3) kesadaran akan norma bahasa sunda sebesar 15,7%. Kedua, kanal YouTube Fiksi menunjukkan kondisi vitalitas bahasa Sunda aman. Pola dengan, di, dan untuk menunjukkan bahwa bahasa Sunda intens digunakan oleh YouTuber.
This research is motivated to further review the corpus on the complaints and aspiration data on LAPOR UPI system complaints. This study aims to describe the forms of corpus in Integrated Service Unit (ULT) about complaints and aspirations of the community. This study utilizes the software in analyzing corpus data, Antconc. This study obtained the data classified into data frequency, and samples of complaints and aspirarions. The findings showed in the period of January 2019 to December 2020, there were 41 complaints and 6 aspirations filed by the UPI community. On the one hand, this showed that the community have filed more complaints which indicated that the university have work to do to improve its services to the community. On the other hand, with the UPI LAPOR platform which was previously nonexistant, the community's voices were being facilitated as an indication of an improved university service. With this corpus data research, it is hoped that it can be one of the references and descriptions for the LAPOR UPI and the UPI
The development of mass media news in online portals is increasing, including the issue of French Products Boycotts, which is due to the French President Emmanuel Macron's statement on supporting the publication of the Prophet Muhammad. This study attempts to analyze the representation of the French Products Boycott issue on online news portals, the effect of media bias on the news, and Muhammad's cartoons, and the racism of the crisis of Islamic religion. Macron's remarks sparked criticism around the world. The Indonesian people responded to this statement by boycotting French products. This study aims to reveal the impact of the news in the social context of society. The study is conducted by using the qualitative method. The object of this research is the newspaper article of BBC News Indonesia. The data is collected by documentation study and analyzed using a critical discourse analysis of the Teun A. van Dijk model. The findings show that. 1) Stigma against Islam and Islamophobia in media coverage. 2) The influence of media alliance in the representation of the French products boycott in the mass media. 3) The influence of French secularism viewpoint towards Islamophobia in the news. 4) The impact of the French products boycott and demonstration news in the mass media. This study should contribute to news analysis that contains arguments and perspectives that can provide social networking insight to the community in responding to issues and information in the news from online mass media.
