The purpose of this analysis is to identify loyalty of the main character, the type of loyalty of the main character, and the moral messages in The Choice movies. The Choice movie is American romantic drama movie directed by Ross Katz and written by Bryan Sipe. This movie based on Nicholas Spark's 2007 novel. This research used descriptive qualitative method to analyze the data. The data are the scenes and the dialogs of the main character that contains loyalty. The results of this research indicates that;(1) The loyalty appears in the main character, Travis Shaw, he explain clearly to be loyalty man in The Choice movie (2) The loyalty types of the main character are romantic loyalist, feeling appears to people who really want something, and loyal sentinel, loyal sentinel is a sense of loyalty where this feeling appears only to the people who closest with them. (3) The moral message contained in the movie is keep loyal and strong, never give up, and always together.

<em>Code switching and code mixing are the strategy of adapting two languages in a speech. The objective of this research is to find the reason why the characters switch or mix their speaking. Revealing and classifying the kinds of code switching and code mixing are also the aim of this study. The writer chooses novel as the object of this study because the characters of this novel are bilingual who are able to speak more than one language. The type of this research is library research. Therefore, in conducting this journal, descriptive qualitative is used as the method of the analysis. The writer collects data by reading the novel, and marking them to make it easier to analyze. The result of this research points out that code mixing is frequently used by the character in the novel. The writer has collected about five kinds of code switching externally and ten kinds of code mixing. Further result, they are five kinds of internal code mixing, and five kinds of external code mixing, and the rest, there are five of external code switching. They tend to choose lexical items that are appropriate from the language where their repertoire is more comprehensive</em>

Abstract:This study aims to identify code mixing used by the late President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in his speech delivered in the 69th Indonesian Indepence Day. This study used content analysis implementing qualitative approach. A text of the official speech issued by the presidential office was used as sources of data. Corpora in the text was identified and classified as they were presented as code mixing in the social interaction contexts. This study revealed (1) 11 code mixings were present in the president speech, (2) types of code mixing in the speaach were insertion, and (3) the code mixing styles appearing in the presidential speech were communicatively delivered.Keywords: code mixing, presidential speech, bilingualism, sociolinguistics.Di dalam masyarakat yang memiliki lebih dari satu bahasa, hal ini pun terjadi di Indonesia, akan sering terjadi peralihan kode ataupun percampuran kode dalam berkomunikasi dalam berbagai percakapan masyarakat. Hal itu disebut alih kode dan campur kode. Alih kode dan campur kode dapat terjadi di semua kalangan masyarakat, di berbagai status sosial mereka. The objective of this study is to identify the ambiguity in soundtrack song lyrics of Moana Movie. This study used descriptive method to analyze data. The research data collected from "We Know The Way" lyrics and 'I'm Moana" by soundtrack songs lyric of Moana movie. The result of this study is indicated that : (1) There are 26 ambiguity, 8 structural ambiguity and 18 lexical ambiguity in "We Know the Way" lyric and in "I'm Moana" lyrics there are 45 ambiguity, consist of 10 structural ambiguity and 35 lexical ambiguity.. (2) The meaning of soundtrack songs lyric in Moana movie, "We Know The Way" telling the story of polynesian tribe which they are a fisherman, also, "I'm Moana" has meaning to describe who is Moana and her spirit when she almost give up to save her island and her people. The ambiguities in soundtrack song lyric's Moana movie make the audiences more interest to this movie; make more variation style in language. It has good combination with the audio.
