Physics learning at SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi implemented through theory, practical work is rarely done. There are still many students who have not thoroughly studied physics. The students scientific literacy are still low. Scientific literacy must be mastered by students, as it relates to the environment. Scientific literacy consists of scientific process, scientific knowledge, scientific application, and attitudes of students towards science. Various efforts to improve the mastery of scientific literacy was indispensable, one through the use of modules in physics learning. Therefore develop the research-based learning modules with a scientific approach. The research aims to develop the research-based physics learning module with scientific approach that valid, practical, and effective. Research and development using the 4D model of Thiagarajan. The research instrument is the interview guides, observation sheets, sheet validation of learning modules, questionnaire responses of teachers and learners, and assessment sheets of scientific literacy. The results showed that the developed learning modules have been categorized as valid based on expert judgment. The learning modules have been categorized as practical based on the observation, responses of teachers and learners. The implemented of the research-based physics learning module with scientific approach, effectively improve the scientific literacy of students. Suggested to physics teachers to implemented the research-based learning modules with a scientific approach. Berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan penguasaan literasi sains sangat diperlukan, salah satunya melalui penggunaan modul dalam pembelajaran fisika. Oleh karena itu dikembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis riset dengan pendekatan scientific. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis riset dengan pendekatan scientific yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4D dari Thiagarajan. Instrumen penelitian adalah panduan wawancara, lembar observasi, lembar validasi modul pembelajaran, angket respon guru dan peserta didik, serta lembar penilaian literasi sains. The purpose of this study was to develop a valid, practical, and effective practicum-based learning tool on MRL subjects with the Magnetic Circuit material in SMKN 1 Padang consisting of RPP and LKS. This type of research is development research using a 4-D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and analyzing. The respondents of this study were students of class X TDTL-B SMKN 1 Padang consisting of 29 students. The results of data analysis obtained from the developed learning tools are categorized valid with the level of validity of the RPP and LKS are 85.42% and 87.50%. Learning Tools developed are categorized as practical with the practicality of teachers and students being 80% and 86.03%. The learning tools developed are effective in increasing students' competencies with classical completeness for cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies are 89.66%, 100%, and 100%. It can be concluded as a practicum-based learning tool developed which is a valid, practical, and effective learning tool.
In the process of learning physics, teachers can still not develop ICT-based learning media using Macromedia flash software that is effective and efficient. It is necessary to analyze articles from the results of previous studies to understand the right media for learning physics. This research was conducted to know what types of research have been carried out in the development of physics learning media using Macromedia flash software and to analyze the effect size of the influence of physics learning media using Macromedia flash software in terms of student learning outcomes based on education level, type of media developed and learning materials. The type of research used is a meta-analysis study. The subjects of this research are 21 articles on the development of physics learning media using Macromedia flash software in terms of student learning outcomes that have been tested in class published in 2011-2020. The data used in this study is a quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size using statistical parameters. The result of the research is that the best effectiveness of physics learning media using Macromedia flash software in terms of student learning outcomes based on education level is in Higher Education. The best effectiveness of the media in terms of student learning outcomes based on the type of media developed is multimedia. The best effectiveness of physics learning media in student learning outcomes based on learning materials is on motion material. It can be concluded that Multimedia that uses Macromedia flash software is a medium that can help students in learning.
The preliminary surveys show that many students are less creative, so that it difficult to understand the concept of physics. Many students who do not mastery learning of physics so that it difficult to applied the concept of physics in relevant subjects. Therefore, project-based learning is implemented. This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning and creativity on the students' competence. This research used quasi experiment method with pretest-posttest group control design. The subjects of the research were students of eleventh grade at vocational high schools. Data were collected using observation sheets, creativity tests, and achievement tests. The result of the research shows that the project-based learning impact on the students' competence, in the terms of: (1) There is a significant difference of the students' competence who use the project-based learning with students who use the conventional learning. (2) There is a significant difference of competence between students who have high and low creativity in project-based learning. (3) There is interaction of learning model and creativity that effect to the students' competence. Thus, student competence is significantly influenced by the implementation of project-based learning. The effect of project-based learning model to the competence of students includes large categories.
<span lang="EN-US">The competence of vocational students in mastering electric motor installation was still low, because learning process has not involved student activities. One of the choices to activate students in learning was through project-based learning. Students were trained to be able to solve problems and make creative products. Project-based learning that applied in learning the Electric Motor Installation has not been able to increase students’ creativity in solving problems and make creative products. Therefore, research was carried to develop a project-based learning model into creative project-based learning. To support the implementation of the creative project-based learning model, teaching material is needed. The development of creative project-based learning use research and development method of 4D model of Thiagarajan with the stages of define, design, develop and disseminate. The research instruments were interview guides, observation sheets, questionnaires, skills assessment sheets, and test. Data analysis use percentage, gain score, and t-test. The research resulted a creative project-based learning model that was valid, practical and effective to improve student competence in Electric Motor Installation. The creative project-based learning model can increase students' creativity and competence in the form of mastery of teaching materials, skills in make the creative product and work attitudes.</span>
