The article develops recommendations for substantiation of requirements for the values of quantitative indicators of unification in requests for proposals for experimental-design works for the development of the pieces of armament and military equipment (AME).
Previously, it was proposed to substantiate these requirements by the basic level of unification Кbas, taking into account the coefficients of the factors that influence the level of unification Сі , but no recommendations were given to determine them.
The analysis of actually achieved during the testing of the levels of unification and nomenclature of the pieces of AME, as well as the experience and capacity of their developers shows the possibility and expediency of establishing requirements for unification indicators at the level of 70-85%.
In the work it is proposed to define Кbas with the help of accepted by the customer of AME the maximum and minimum level of unification, and the coefficients of Сі by the number of factors influencing on the level of unification and conditions for reaching the maximum and minimum levels with favorable or adverse effects of all factors.
According to the analysis, it is recommended to take the value of 90% for the maximum level of unification, for the minimum - 50%, for the main factors of influence - the novelty of the design, the complexity of the sample, the nature of application, the need for compatibility with other samples of AME, volume of production, experience of the enterprise, the potential of the enterprise. Criteria for differentiation of factors by nature of influence are also developed.
On the example of specific experimental-design works, the level of unification was calculated, which had to be established for a particular sample as requirements, taking into account the developed recommendations. The calculated values ranged from 67% to 76% with still close match to the actual levels of unification achieved at the stages of sample testing.
The results of the study are recommended to be applied in practice when setting the requirements in the requests for proposals on the experimental-design works for the development of samples of AME.
