There is a limit for deforestation in order to keep the environmental cycle undisturbed. The heart of the paper is to replace the wood to a maximum extent to obtain a sustainable environment. This research aims at new natural composites in which treated hemp fiber used as reinforcement, synthetic cellulose used as particulate to improve the adhesion between matrix -fiber interface and Epoxy LY556 acted as matrix fabricated by hand layup technique. The density, water absorption, tensile properties, impact strength, hardness, flexural properties and compressive properties have been evaluated under ASTM standards and compare the results with existing materials such as wood, aluminium, etc., The composite hemp fiber reinforced polymer (HFRP) could be exploited as an effective replacement for wood and it would be suitable for automotive applications by comparing results.
Conjugate heat transfer from sudden expansion using nanofluid is studied numerically. The governing equations are solved using unsteady stream function-vorticity formulation method. Results are compared with zero nanoparticle fluid to exhibit the role of nanoparticle. The effect of volume fraction of nanoparticles and type of nanoparticles on heat transfer are examined and found to have a significant impact. Local Nusselt number and average Nusselt number are reported in connection with various nanoparticle, volume fraction, and Reynolds number for expansion ratio 2. Two dimensionality is more pronounced in the solid wall up to recirculation length. Local Nusselt number reaches peak values near the reattachment point and reaches asymptotic value in the downstream. Bottom wall eddy and volume fraction show significant impact on average Nusselt number. The wall thickness causes larger temperature gradient at the conjugate interface boundary, which leads to larger average Nusselt number.
A Combined Algorithm is proposed to form the machine cell and part family identification in the cellular manufacturing system. In the first phase, part families identification, by using Rank Order Clustering (ROC) and Modified Single Linkage Clustering (MOD-SLC). In second phase, Machine cell formation, by using Rank Order Clustering (ROC) and Modified Single Linkage Clustering (MOD-SLC), which is to assign machines into machine cells to produce part families. The above Proposed method is tested by using standard problems and compared with other method results for the same standard problems. Grouping efficiency is one of the most widely used measures of quality for Cellular Manufacturing Systems.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
