Abstracf -To enhance the performance of existing near field antenna test facilities the idea of far field pattern determination using both the amplitude and phase measurements and the phaseless measurements techniques is proposed. In this way some difficulties related to precise phase measurements are overcome. The feasibility and the performance of the introduced techniques are shown through numerical examples. Both simulation and measurement results will be presented to demonstrate the utility of such approach. Comparison will be made behveen the antenna patterns calculated using traditional near field -far field (NF/FF) transformations, the phaseless measurements and the ones obtained by applying both the amplitude and phase measurements.
