ChemInform Abstract The novel title compound with octavalent Xe is prepared in 63% yield by dissolving the known Na4XeO6•1.65 H2O in water. This X-ray amorphous title compound is mainly characterized by its IR data. Its thermal decomposition is also investigated.
HBrO4, which is obtained from NaBrO4 by a known procedure, is neutralized by NH4OH or by RbOH to yield NH4BrO4 (space group Pnma, Z=4) and the novel compound RbBrO4 (space group Pnma or Pn2,a, Z=4).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
