Abstract:In the frame of the Born approximation we theoretically investigate nonresonant scattering of an electron by a muon in the field of elliptically polarized electromagnetic wave in the general relativistic case. It is studied kinematics of a scattering of an electron in resonant and nonresonant regions. It is derived the expressions for the amplitude and the cross section of the nonresonant scattering of an electron by a muon in the wave field. It is shown that an external field has an essentially influence on the process of nonresonant scattering.Scattering of an electron by a muon in the field of a plane electromagnetic wave
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
