SAVITSKII (d)Crystal field effects in plycrystalline samples of Tbh'i, and ErNi, are studied on the basis of inelastic neutron scattering experiments. Using the crystal field parameters derived from the neutron scattering the magnetic contribution of the specific heat capacity, the components of the static susceptibility, as well as the components of the magnetization are calculated, and compared with the corresponding experimental results for single crystals. The quadrupolar contribution of the crystal electric field Bi is related to the electric field gradients measured by TDPAC.Ausgehend von Messungen der inelastischen Neutronenstreuung werden in polykristallinen Proben von TbXi, und ErNi, Kristallfeldwirkungen untersucht. Mit den aus der h'eutronenstreuung erheltenen Kristallfeldparametern werden der magnetische Anteil an der spezifischen Warmekepazitit. die Komponenten der statischen Suszeptibilitiit nnd die Komponenten der Magnetisierung berechnet und diese mit den entaprechenden experimentellen Ergebnissen fur Monokristalle verglichen. Der Quadrupolbeitrag des elektrischen Kristellfeldes B; wird mit den elektrischen Feldgradienten, die mitkls TDPAC gemessen wurden, in Beziehung gebracht.
