Purpose: The understanding of changing industry dynamics is essential for any business firm that wishes to enter, earn returns and sustain in any given industry. The study/analysis of an industry is essential for various stakeholders. For instance, creditors/investors take decisions concerning investment only after a thorough analysis of the current scenario and prospects of an industry. The ABCD framework is an effective tool of industry analysis for understanding both the positive and negative impact of the industry’s operations and the factors that support or hinder the effective functioning of the industry. The Indian Pharmaceutical Industry, known as the pharmacy of the world, is the leading supplier of generic drugs. It’s contribution in achieving various public health outcomes such as polio eradication, lower treatment costs, to name a few, are immense. The industry has proved its resilience even in the COVID-19 pandemic era. Design/Methodology/Approach: This paper studies the Indian Pharmaceutical Sector in terms of its Advantages, Benefits, Constraints and Disadvantages. The data for the same is collected through published reports on the Indian Pharmaceutical Sector. Apart from ABCD Framework, other tools of industry analysis such as the Herfindahl-Hirschman index are used in the study. Findings/Result: The benefits of the pharma industry to the economy as well as to public health outcomes have been many and varied. The industry enjoys many advantages, the main among them being the low cost of manufacturing, which has contributed to its growth. The main disadvantage of the industry is its adverse impact on the ecology. Rigorous regulations are its chief constraints. Originality/Value: This paper studies the Indian Pharmaceutical industry using the ABCD model, which gives an all-round perspective of the industry. Purpose: Industry analysis gives a broad idea of industry in terms of its objectives, resources as inputs and functions, products &services as output. In this paper, we have studied various electronic payment systems practiced by the banking industry like card payments NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, and UPI. Analysis has been done on the value &volume, growth of these digital payments over the last 5years. A comprehensive analysis of the evolving digital payments using the ABCD model is performed. Design/methodology /Approach: This industry analysis is the conceptual research case study. Analysis of digital payment is done using ABCD analysis. Data and information have been collected from various online open access sources using Google scholar, ResearchGate, RBI, GOI reports & journals. Finding/ Result: Based on ABCD analysis the advantages and benefits of the digital payment mechanism are more prominent than constraints and disadvantages. It is found that digital E-payments are very useful in the current scenario. Originality value: This paper analyses and interprets the digital payment system of the banking industry in terms of its current status and future opportunities. Background/Purpose: Telecommunication is a principal element in the current technology-driven world. The impact of mobile phone services over traditional services is the key to India witnessing the Digital revolution. This paper highlights the mobile phone services that have impacted the traditional services and the digital penetration that has been observed in almost every sector. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study is mainly based on the data collected from secondary sources of information. The secondary data sources are from annual reports of the telecom sector and websites. It is an explorative research case study that shows the emergence of mobile phone services over traditional telephone services and performs PESTLE analysis. Findings/Result: Based on the study, India has moved into a digital population to a great extent through the advancements in technology and internet services through data packs and broadband connections. The mobile phone services along with the Telecom sector in India have played a crucial role in this transformation with connectivity, affordability, and technological change. Originality/Value: This paper analyzes and interprets the data collected from the past 10 years with respect to telecommunications services and mobile services in India. Purpose: The central idea of the study is to identify and examine the affecting factors towards management students’ perception of Industrial Internship programme at Srinivas University, Mangaluru, India for the academic year 2021-22. Design: Secondary data is collected by referring journal papers and books. The study includes ABCD factor analysis framework. Primary data was collected from selected 219 management students’ groups. The data was run through Jamovi software for descriptive analysis and SMART PLS 3.0 for causal analysis. SEM model was developed and IPMA analysis were analyzed. Findings: Industrial Internship programme is an essential method to enhance the students learning experience. Student industrial internship unit and host company has a significant impact of student perception towards industrial internship programme. The study proposes a model for understanding the student perception about the internship programme they have undergone and managerial implications are suggested. Originality: The study highlights the importance of Industry Internship programme for management students’ along with academic curriculum to be offered by higher education institutes and empirically proves the model. Coronavirus pandemic has affected many lives, and several rigid rules and policies had to be implemented across the globe to curb the spread of the disease. A nation-wide lockdown was announced on March 22, 2020, in India to curb the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID – 19) pandemic. The entire nation was brought to a standstill with only the essential services running. The pandemic had put many of the organizations on the moratorium, especially the travel industry. Indian Railways were no exception to it. But they have risen to the occasion to stand strong with the nation. The efficient disaster management planning of the Indian railways has helped them to fight the battle bravely. Though the passenger trains were brought to a halt in the initial lockdown period, the freight services were functional, carrying out essential duties during the lockdown. From manufacturing and distribution of PPE kits, transportation of essential commodities, service from medical warriors, Indian Railways has taken all the possible steps in the nation's fight against the pandemic. This article focuses on the COVID-19 guidelines followed by the Indian Railways and their noble work during the COVID-19 national crisis for the wellbeing of employees, passengers, and the general public by using secondary data such as journals, newspapers, magazines, and memorandums.
