The article discusses the terminology "digital economy" in the works of foreign and domestic authors, the author's definition of economic security in the light of the digital economy is given, economic and digital indicators are defined and their threshold levels are indicated, economic security risk zones are identified through the normalization of indicators.
The article considers the tasks of the closed-cycle economy and the goals of sustainable development, substantiates the relationship of goals and objectives, highlights the problems of introducing issues of the closed-cycle economy and suggests indicators for assessing innovative development and resource conservation in production activities. It is established that the closed-loop economy is one of the mechanisms for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
