Abstract: In recent years, the Brazilian Federal Government has expanded access to poisons through its commodity policies, supporting large agribusiness and disfavoring, in an inversely proportional relationship, the health and well-being of workers. We point out that pesticides represent a wide variety of chemical products presented in different formulations and concentrations and used in different environments: agriculture, animal sanitary bath, domestic use and vector control. We propose a reflection, which we believe is urgent. A change in people's health care, aimed at organic family farming, free of poisons or with due legal supervision regarding the application rules, added to a review of the legal permissions for the use of pesticides. Keywords: Pesticides. Family farming. Legal oversight.
