Organic underpinning of a psychotic disturbance is often missed. Arachnoid cysts are considered a rare neurological tumor, few of which exhibit any symptomatology. In most cases, they are diagnosed by accident. Literature regarding the coexistence of arachnoid cysts with psychiatric disorders is sparse. Here, we present a case who presented with a typical presentation of psychosis which was not enough for suspecting for an organic etiology.
Baclofen was initially used for the treatment of spastic conditions. Last decade has seen its emergence as a treatment of profound interest in alcohol dependence, opiates and cocaine abuse, and tobacco addiction. However, the published literature on baclofen abuse is sparse. Here, we report a patient with baclofen abuse.
Paratesticular malignant mesotheliomas are rare tumors with 223 cases described so far. It is a highly aggressive tumour. We report a case of a malignant mesothelioma arising from the tunica vaginalis of the testis which was highly aggressive in its course.
