An actual knot that forms during pregnancy is known as a true knot of the umbilical cord (TKUC) which is seen in 0.3% to 1.2% of pregnancies. TKUC is noteworthy because it can lead to a variety of adverse perinatal outcomes, including infants with low Apgar scores, small for gestational age (SGA) fetuses, fetal hypoxia, and also in some cases fetal death. Here, we present instances of TKUC of three patients and the various associated prenatal outcomes.
Preterm labour (PTL) is defined as the onset of labour in pregnancy from 28 weeks to 36weeks and 6 days. One of the most challenging problem of obstetrician in the era of modern obstetrics is the management of preterm labour and preterm births (PTB); Being the most common cause of perinatal morbidity and mortality PTB accounts for 70-80% of perinatal deaths. More than a million preterm infants die per year, worldwide. Aim: To Compare the Tocolytic effect of Oral Nifedipine tablet and Transdermal Nitroglycerin (TDN) patch in preterm labour and its effect on maternal and fetal outcome. Uternie didelphys with obstructed Hemivagina and ipsilateral Renal anomaly (OHVIRA) syndrome is a
rare congenital anomaly. These patients may present with varied symptoms. Hence may often get

unusual case of a 36yrs old married female who came to our OPD with diffuse pain abdomen associated with
dysmenorrhoea and was later diagnosed on MRI with OHVIRA syndrome who underwent septal resection and was
relieved from the symptoms.
As pregnancy advances, the Platelet Counts decrease while Mean Platelet Volume and Platelet Distribution Width increase, and these kinds of changes are more evident in severe preeclampsia mothers than in non-severe preeclamptic mothers. Thus, Platelet indices could be used as biomarkers for early diagnosis of severity of preeclampsia.
