A combined treatment including ligation of feeding vessels and surgical excision has been effective and safe in this patient. It was done due to cost factors, and inavailability of embolization facilities.The location and extent of a vascular malformation should dictate the preoperative investigations, surgical procedure and subsequent outcome.
