The characteristic of the regional labour market requires the usage of modern aspects for the key factors’ analysis of labour cost increase. The high rate of migration, covering Ukraine in recent years, is influencing negatively on the labour market structure. It is necessary to remark among positive features that the demand increasing for highly intellectual staff, skilful in communication in foreign languages and building up social relations is of great importance. The subject of scientific research defines communicative competences as the key factors of human capital, which promotes the increase in competitiveness of an individual in the labour market and, as a result, an increase of the regional competitiveness. The aim of the research is to establish the dependency between the level of communicative competence and competitiveness in the labour market studying communicative competence factors in terms of the theory of human capital, the determination of the conformity between the requirements to human capital and the conformity of the investigated factors to these requirements. Communicative competencies are a set of skills, which allows labour market entity distinctly expressing and applying the business format of communication. The practical use of oratory allows negotiating with foreign counterparties, putting into practice the etiquette of business communication, and competently solving the complicated situations. The research of existing requirements to communicative competence defined the levels of qualification, which ensure the development of new kinds of activities. It defined the position of Ukraine in professional communicative competence in the world rating. The research was to carry out of rating assessment of the economic situation in regions according to economic indicators, which can be changed under the influence of a factor of the communicative contractors’ competence (average monthly-paid salary per an employee, export, and import of goods in the region, turnover of retail trade). The methodology of the research is based on the research of the role of human capital factors in increasing the cost of labour on the basis of the statistical method and analysing data of the labour market economic indicators, and in substantiating the relationship between the level of professional communicative competence in the country and its social and economic indicators. Value/originality. The methods of analysis and synthesis allowed revealing regularities and formulating recommendations for improving the competitiveness of the regional labour market by inducing the development of communicative competences and raising the index of human capital of the country in a whole. Positive dynamics of import and export, business activity, direct foreign investment and overall trade turnover indicators will be immediately reflected in a whole at the regional level and at the level of the country. Life expectancy of the population, the level of education and culture, the criminal situation decreasing will be approved by the social indicators.
Purpose. Development of a procedure for determining the optimal capitallabor ratio within the framework of twofactor pro duction functions, as well as an analysis of the conditions for its implementation in practice. Methodology. In the process of the conducted mathematical analysis, the search for the extrema of the most popular in eco nomic studies, of twofactor production functions, namely the CobbDouglas production function, CESfunction, linear func tion, Allen's function in terms of capital assets, was performed. The limit rate of the technological substitution of factors in condi tions of optimal capitallabor ratio was found, which proved to be unique in all investigated production functions. The indicated relationship was verified on the basis of microeconomic theory, in particular, using the equilibrium principle. Findings. The hypothesis of the single marginal rate of technological substitution in conditions of optimal capitallabor ratio is verified. On the basis of the microeconomic theory, the procedure for determining the optimal capitallabor ratio in the framework of any twofactor production functions is substantiated due to the marginal rate of technological substitution. The proposed pro cedure consists in determining the marginal rate of technological substitution as the ratio of the marginal products of the produc tion factors and equating it to one unit. The obtained ratio makes it possible to deduce the formula of optimal capitallabor ratio, provided that the indicators of the dynamics of realized products, main assets and labor remuneration in the enterprise are ade quately described by the corresponding production function with nonzero substitution. Originality. Development of a procedure for optimization of capitallabor ratio within the framework of substitutional two factor production functions based on the formulas of their marginal rate of technological substitution. Practical value. Theoretical conclusions and proposals were tested on the example of a Ukrainian enterprise in the field of mechanical engineering. The results of the research can be used to manage capitallabor ratio by determining its optimal volume in production, which opens the possibility of rational use of basic productive assets and labor at domestic enterprises which are characterized by relative overequipment with high moral and physical equipment decay.
Although social capital and collaborative knowledge creation were considered essential drivers in maintaining competitive advantage, empirical evidence on the impact of collaborative knowledge creation on organizational agility remained limited. Therefore, this study examined the relationship between social capital and collaborative knowledge creation in building innovation and agility and testing strategic flexibility as a moderating variable. It employed a quantitative design by distributing questionnaires to 414 managers and assistant managers of SMEs analyzed by SmartPLS-SEM. The results showed that social capital significantly affected collaborative knowledge creation, innovation, and organizational agility. Meanwhile, collaborative knowledge creation has no significant impact on organizational agility. Furthermore, strategic flexibility was not a moderating variable of the relationship between innovation and organizational agility. Based on these findings, this study produced recommendations for managers to strengthen organizational agility.
The Euro-integration vector of Ukraine economic development and business in the open economy zone expands the economic and social potential of domestic enterprises and requires the formation of a reliable information environment to ensure the corporate interests of their investors (in the first) and other users of information (in particular). Today, corporate fraud is the most widespread form of economic crime in Ukraine and the world, which affects about 48% of domestic enterprises. The study attracted substantiated attention to the negative tendency towards the growth of economic crime in Ukraine, which in the end focuses on the fact that domestic business should apply a set of measures to withdraw part of the business from the “shadow economy”. As a result, such measures will help increase the attractiveness of Ukraine’s business investment. The study systematized and analyzed the progressive experience of developed countries, in the first place, the United States, in the fight against economic fraud. The study provides all grounds for asserting that it is quite feasible to achieve the tangible reduction of economic (financial) fraud with preventive measures (which is rather quick and effective). It is proved that the lack of aspirations of the enterprise management to overcome fraud leads to the formation of new money laundering schemes, and not control mechanisms – prevention of opportunities for committing fraud.
