Purpose : The purpose of the study is to develop proposals for improving food security in Russia as a component of economic security, based on indicators of the import-substituting food potential of the federal districts of the Russian Federation. Design/Methodology/Approach : To highlight the regions that provide 80% of the national food security of Russia, it is worth considering in more detail the indicators of import-substituting food potential for the regions of the Russian Federation. The average indicators of import-substituting food potential in the federal districts of the Russian Federation for 2015–2018 are considered. Using the ranked method, the data is presented more clearly. After ranking using the methodology Olgarenko and Ugryumova (Ugryumova and Olgarenko, .Nat. Interests Priorities Secur. 16:6–8, 2015) the contribution of each region to the import-substituting food potential of the country was assessed. The federal districts were grouped according to the degree of their contribution to import substitution of the Russian Federation using the ABC analysis method. Findings : The Central Federal District, the North Caucasus Federal District, the Southern Federal District have a great influence on the development of food security in Russia as a whole. When considering measures to improve food security in Russia, one should focus on the leading regions. This is due to the greater return on the implementation of measures. Originality/Value : Improving the sustainability of food security from internal and external threats can be achieved through the institutionalization of the system of its provision, which includes organizational, information and legal, scientific and technological, personnel, financial, land and other resource components at different levels of the economy. This approach is especially important when food security is correlated with indicators of demographic security.

The article analyzes the literature and provides an assessment of the development of the stock market in the Russian Federation between 2016–2020. Today, the process of improving electronic technologies for carrying out operations in the stock market is also a continuing segment of the financial market. A methodology for assessing the development of the stock market in the example of the Russian Federation is proposed, with a description of the essence of the assessment indicator, the calculation formula and the threshold value. According to the results of the assessment and to the author’s proposed methodology, measures are proposed to improve the work of the stock market.

The study of the system of relations between participants in agricultural relations that ensures active quality reproduction processes and profitability of activities, reduces internal and external risks and threats to business and guarantees food security of the municipality, the region and the country as a whole. Goal. To analyze the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Crimea as a component of the region's industrial safety. The hypo-thesis of the study. Agricultural producers are gradually adapting to the new conditions in the Republic of Crimea during 2014-2017, and there are some problems in the production of agricultural products. Method or methodology of the work. The authors used structural-logical sequence of analysis of indicators of agro-industrial complex, considering the General characteristics of agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Crimea, the structure of the agricultural products of the Crimea, advanced agricultural enterprises. Using a structural-logical sequence of analysis of indicators of agro-industrial complex, it can be noted that, in general, the agricultural potential of Crimea is huge, however, the instability of some components, at the end of 2017, a decline, a decrease in the rate of growth of crop, livestock, thus we see the net profit and increased share of profitable enterprises. This dynamics suggests that agricultural producers are gradually adapting to new conditions, but there are some problems that hinder more fruitful development, primarily in terms of resource provision, logistics aspects and technological upgrades. The strategy for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Crimea, as a component of the region's industrial security – is to create safe conditions for development, improve the quality and volume of agricultural production, and its competitiveness in the Republic of Crimea. The scope of the results. The results obtained are of practical significance and can be used by economic entities in the agricultural industry, implementation of investment projects at the level of the Republic of Crimea. Further research should be directed to the development of methods for assessing the economic security of the agro-industrial complex with the choice of indicators proposed in this study as a component of economic security.

The authors approve a mathematical model for estimating the value of an object taking into account trends in the residential real estate market in the MATLAB software package with the assignment and correction of the fuzzy set membership functions. Fuzzy computations are performed using the Mamdani method, which requires defining the membership functions for the output variables. We consider schemes for constructing systems of fuzzy inference for variables (the real estate object state) and (the real estate market state). The results of calculations using the Fuzzy Logic Toolbox are given on the surfaces of fuzzy inference systems that show the dependence of the output variables on the individual input variables.
