The design features of a motor-grader help it perform a wide range of working operations, which puts it on a par with the main machines in the construction industry. Unlike other earth-moving machines, the motor-grader can perform work operations not only in a cyclic mode, but also in a continuous action mode. Considering these features, not only productivity should be addressed as the main indicator of the efficiency of this machine, but also the indicators of the quality of the working operations performed, in particular, the indicators of road-holding ability in the process of performing continuous working operations. The work has substantiated and developed a mathematical model of the motor-grader movement during working operations. This model makes it possible to predict the expected trajectory of the motor-grader on the basis of deterministic dependencies, which enables to assess the indicators of road-holding ability. The difference between the proposed model and the existing ones is the consideration of a two-stage mode of machine movement: plane motion at the first stage and rotational around the stop point at the second. When describing the external forces acting on the motor-grader, the differences in the formation of resistance forces on the blade during various working operations are taken into account.
The paper is devoted to the problem of automatic detection and recognition of license plates, the solution of which has many potential applications, from security to traffic management. The purpose of this work was to compare the methods of finding and recognizing car number plates, based on the application of deep learning algorithms, which takes into account different regional standards of car number plates, video quality, different speeds of vehicles, the location of the camera in relation to the vehicle license plate, defects of the car number plate (pollution , deformation), as well as changes in external lighting conditions. The advantages and disadvantages of localization and segmentation of car number plates on cars using image binarization, Viola–Jones and Harr methods are given. It was determined that adaptive approaches are better due to the possibility of compensating the impact of obstacles on different areas of the image, for example, the distribution of shadows due to the heterogeneity of illumination. It was determined that many methods in real algorithms rely directly or indirectly on the presence of number limits. Even if the limits are not used when the number is determined, they have the possibility to be used for further analysis. The methods of templates, image histograms, and contour analysis were compared to identify familiar features in the image (segmentation). It is shown that an effective approach for recognition of car license plates can be based on the application of the methods of Viola-Jones, Harr, the analysis of brightness histograms and the SVM method. Formulated conclusions on the effectiveness of the implementation of each of the procedures were confirmed as a result of conducting experiments with the developed software in the python 3 language using the cv2 computer vision library. The described approach makes it possible to obtain a fairly high recognition accuracy at different angles of rotation of the license plate relative to the camera. Keywords: automatic recognition, license plates, localization, normalization, segmentation, character recognition.
The development of information technologies requires great attention of managers to the formation of information support and the promotion of goods and services to the market. The industry of tourism and hotel industry is developing in conditions of significant competition. Therefore, taking into account the relevance of the issue, the article considers innovative mechanisms for building effective management systems in tourism and the hotel and restaurant industry through the use of digital technologies. The purpose of the study is to develop ways of implementing innovative mechanisms for ensuring effective communications in the system of development of enterprises in the field of tourism and hotel and restaurant industry. a retrospective analysis of communication systems was carried out. The article is devoted to the definition of innovative technologies for the development of the communications system in different historical periods. The article defines modern trends in the innovative application of communication technologies and the latest communication systems. As a result of the study, the role of innovations in the formation of effective communications is substantiated, taking into account the specifics of the tourism and hotel and restaurant industry. The problems of remote communication under certain limitations have not yet been sufficiently studied. In particular, it is difficult to say about the consequences of such influences on the mental and psychological state of a person, because people are social beings and communication is a basic human need. Analyzing the processes of development of communication systems, it is possible to determine the cause-and-effect relationships of transformation, the influence of social processes on communications and communications on social processes. In the conditions of a competitive environment in the service sector, communication processes ensure high competitiveness of enterprises, provided they are effectively implemented. Therefore, it is appropriate to turn to the issue of finding innovative communication technologies in the system of development of tourism and hotel and restaurant enterprises. Keywords: digital technologies, innovative technologies, tourism, hotel and restaurant business.
Problem. Cybersecurity today is one of the main tasks, whose solution is mandatory not only for digital business. Recently, much attention has been paid to cybersecurity in the field of road transport. Already today, modern cars need high-quality and reliable protection of all electronics, communication systems, user personal data and software. Therefore, the issue of training a qualified specialist in automotive cybersecurity is quite relevant. Goal. The goal is to analyze the modern market of educational services both in Ukraine and other European countries in the field of training bachelors in cybersecurity. Methodology. Methods of analysis, synthesis, scaling and mathematical statistics were used to process the research results. Results. Comparative analysis of educational services of domestic and foreign universities showed that we have the greatest discrepancy between the educational services of domestic and foreign universities in the field of teaching programming technologies. Based on the results of the analysis, it was suggested that improving the quality of training specialists in cybersecurity is possible by increasing the volume and quality of educational services in programming technologies. Originality. A comparison was made of the quality of educational services of Ukrainian and European universities, in which the measure of the quality of disciplines taught is the number of credits allocated for the discipline. Practical value. The conducted study revealed a possible reason for the insufficient quality of training bachelors in cybersecurity in domestic universities. Eliminating the identified shortcoming will not only improve the quality of bachelor's training, but will also have a positive impact on the further employment of university graduates in their specialty.
The paper presents the results of evaluating the performance measures of the newly developed and implemented in practice plan for coordinating the work of six local traffic lights on a 1.8 km long fragment of Nauki Avenue in Kharkiv. The analysis of existing methods of coordinated traffic light management has shown that at present they do not provide high performance and are roughly equal in effect to adaptive traffic light management methods. The main instrument of evaluation was the comparison of the results of the application of new parameters of traffic lights operation on the fragment of the street and road network, surrounding the coordinated section, with the traffic situation existing before its implementation. For this purpose, a study of travel time and the number of vehicle stops at intersections was conducted using the "floating car" method, and the speed of vehicles was calculated using TomTom service data. Each of these methods has its own advantages and disadvantages, and therefore they complemented each other in assessing the direct impact of the coordination plan on the state of traffic management on the studied fragment of the road network. The dual evaluation of the performance measures proved to be very appropriate in light of the operating conditions of the coordinated fragment of Nauki Avenue and the road network around it, which recorded a significant increase in traffic intensity during 2021 and after the implementation of the coordination plan in early 2022. The evaluation of its effectiveness in both ways convincingly showed the high efficiency of this measure, in terms of the number of stops and travel time, and the TomTom service data showed that even with an increase in traffic volume by almost one and a half times, the speed of cars in general increased by more than 14%. Taking into account the minimal costs for the implementation of the coordination plan, this testifies in favor of the means of arterial coordination in the Ukraine cities, as a priority direction for the development of local traffic lights systems in comparison with the creation of adaptive traffic light control systems. Keywords: coordination of traffic lights, urban arterial, travel time, vehicle speed.
