Following research paper discusses the various success factors and challenges for carpet weaving industries in India in improving the status of the same. Further, the interrelationships have been studied with the help of ISM methodology. Being a deeply traditional industry, carpet making has immensely influenced its production process and value chain. In this paper, the authors discuss the application of technological elements to the hand woven carpet industry, indicating that traditional technologies can be renewed by the use of the latest innovative advantages.
In recent years, there have been significant calls for a more technologically driven construction sector which would not meet the expected standards in quality, time and cost but also integrate sustainable principles in delivering its final products. This research study aims at determining and prioritizing the key criteria success factors (CSFs) that can enhance the integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and sustainable practices in construction projects. The implementation of these key drivers would help the construction sector to implement sustainable practices and BIM. After the exploration , these key drivers are further studied for establishing the possible interrelationships amongst them using ISM methodology .
Present research discusses the various success factors for the successful adoption of ICT and CAD in carpet weaving. It further discusses the interrelationship amongst them using ISM methodology.
Following research work focuses on exploring the possible challenges for solid waste management practices in developing countries such as India. It compares the two methodologies of qualitative decision making i.e. ISM and Fuzzy ISM methodologies for establishing the interrelationship amongst them.
