Introduction. The relevance of this problem lies in its insufficient study in comparative pedagogy. Modern society in many countries of the world, based on market relations, seeks to create an environment with the widespread use of information technologies, makes high demands on school graduates who must be ready to realistically assess the level of their abilities and social skills, make an informed choice of their future profession, and competently build communication with social institutions and employers. The purpose of the article is to identify and characterize the impact of digital technologies on the competitiveness and vocational education of high school students in the economically developed countries, such as USA and Singapore. Research methodology and methods. Analysis of scientific literature, initiatives and projects in the two studied countries in the field of introducing digital technologies into the practice of vocational education showed the feasibility of introducing new technologies and forms of organizing training. Research results. The article emphasizes that the emergence of new digital technologies and the pandemic in early 2020 have fundamentally changed the usual patterns of behavior and practice in every country. In the United States, in 2020, due to Covid-19, the “Workplace” simulator model has become widespread, allowing high school students to acquire work skills in selected clusters (specialties) as successfully as if they worked in a real workplace, and in Singapore new technology of 3D virtual reality contributed to the acquisition of professional competencies by high school students and to increase their competitiveness. Conclusion. The study of the impact of the introduction of digital technologies in the professional education of students in the United States and Singapore is of important, not only theoretical, but also practical value, since it contributes to the competitiveness of graduates of educational organizations.
Цель. Целью статьи является изучение методов экономической социализации в американских и канадских семьях, а также анализ различных способов влияния родителей на формирование экономического поведения своих детей.Методы и методология проведения работы. Методологической основой исследования послужили труды, как отечественных (Т.П. Грасс, Т.В. Дробышева, Е.Н. Землянская, А.С. Прутченков и др.), так и зарубежных ученых (K. Lewis, A. Gibb, A. Furham, U. Schoof), которые подробно рассматривали роль семьи в экономической социализации подрастающих поколений в психологической, социологической и педагогической литературе.Результаты. Результаты исследования показывают, что экономическое поведение и финансовые установки родителей оказывают значительное влияние на экономическую социализацию подрастающих поколений. Авторы раскрывают наиболее эффективные методы, инструменты и стратегии, используемые родителями в США и Канаде для формирования экономических компетенций подрастающих поколений.Область применения результатов. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы в научно-исследовательской, преподавательской и социально-педагогической деятельности.
The article analyses the formation of senior school students in the educational school setting which reflects modern market tendencies. One of the priorities of directions in Russia has become the process of digitalization of the education of late. It creates the digital educational setting and the use of the possibilities of digital technologies in implementing the improvement of education quality. The authors underline that in modern conditionsthe necessity to form the senior school students’ economic culture is actualized by the fact that the economic education is created in school built on the proactive principals which are taking place in the society and closely connected with the fact that the school is becoming digital. In this connection exactly digital technologies which are mentioned by the government of Russia as a way to solve the educational tasks which are not solved or badly solved on the basis of traditional technologies. To find out how to carry out the formation of the senior school students’ economic culture under conditions of digital economy. Method and methodology of work performance: scientific-pedagogical grounds for research served as a set of initial theoretical justifications: key provisions of cultural and learner centered approach for the description of characters and types of teaching and learning activities of school students; provisions of competency based approach to describe the essence of competency being in the structure of senior school students economic culture; ideas of individually oriented education to find out patterns of senior school students’ economic culture’s formation in conditions of development of digital economy. Results: The development of the education system under condition of the digital economy presents new approaches to comprehension and the formation of new economic culture. The field of application of results: results of the study may be applied in the scientific research and in the teaching of courses of pedagogy, social pedagogy, comparative pedagogy and in career guidance in pedagogical higher and secondary institutions as well as in the system of staff training.
The article deals with peculiarities of vocational programs implemented in Canada and China in the context of digitalization having their own specifics due to their national culture, traditions and social and economic conditions.
