The research was conducted to overcome the problem of selecting a location for the opening of a new branch of the Murni Sadar English Course. The increasing need for the community to learn English has made Murni Sadar English Course to expand and open a branch of English courses in a new location. This problem is overcome by designing a support system that functions to help facilitate the selection of new branch locations. This DSS is designed using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method using 5 criteria: population density level, access to locations, crowd level, rental costs, and population income. From the results of this study it is concluded that the ARAS method is very appropriate to be used as a tool in decision support where the best alternative location is Patuan_Anggi_Street with an alternative value of 0.1778.
The research focused on the problems of buying a second-hand Toyota vehicle. The ability to make fast, precise and accurate decisions will be the key to success in today’s global competition. The number of factors that need to be considered when a purchaser wants to buy a second-hand car also leads the purchaser to make the wrong choice when selecting a second-hand car to buy. This problem is solved by developing a support system that helps consumers make choices about purchasing second-hand cars. This Decision Support System is generated using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. From this research it can be concluded that the SAW method is very appropriate to use as a decision support tool where three best second-hand car alternatives are obtained consisting of Toyota Fortuner with a preference value of 101, Toyota Rush car with a preference value of 90.4, and the Toyota Kijang Innova with a preference value of 88.6.
This paper obtain the introducing of Programmable System on Chip (PSoC) technology for Engineering Education, consisting of 2 types of PSoC, i.e, CyPress Semiconductor CY8CKIT-049-42xx, and PSoC 6 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), in this paper it focuses on learning at the level basic and introduction to these 2 types of PSoC. moreover, Learning consists of introducing the PSoC input-output with a block diagram of a typical MCU, PSoC Creator features, installation, and testing using Light Emitting Diode (LED). It is hoped that students in the engineering field can understand PSoC as one of the competing microcontrollers of the Arduino or ATmega328p, therefore, that obtains the gain knowledge about the MCU extensively.
