SUMMARY:Different types of polymers kave been prepared containing electron donors (derivatives of p-anisidine, p-phenylen diamine, and benzidine) as basic unit. Donor-acceptor complexes ha+&een prepared by addition of several monomeric electron acceptors with different electron affinities; the absorption spectra of these complexes B w 9 h recorded in solution and in the solid state. The complexes of polymeric p-phenylen diamine and benzidine derivatives contain radical cations as in the case of monomeric complexes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
