Abstract. The g-factors of the four lowest states of the ground state rotational band of ~SSDy have been determined as g(21~)= +0.362(23), g(4+)= +0.340(20), g (6 +) = + 0.207 (36) and g (8 i +) = + 0.21 (11). The g-factors of the 2 + and 4 + states were measured by the IPAC method with radioactive samples of 2.4 h 158Er in external magnetic fields. To investigate the higher states, for the first time an on-line 7-7 IPAC experiment was performed with the reaction 156Gd(~, 2n)lSSDy by use of the static hyperfine field of DyGd.
The gyromagnetic ratios and the half-lifes of the 141 keV and 181 keV states of 99Tc have been remeasured. The results, g(141 keV)= + 1.280(44); g(181 keV)= + 1.446(20) and Tin(141 keV)=0.205(4) ns; Tv2(181 keV)= 3.44(3) ns are in only fair agreement with prior published data but more precise. They confirm that both states are members of the ground state core vibration multiplet. The hyperfine field of TcFe has been determined as Bl~K(TcFe)=30.42(30) T; B~~ T
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
