We have observed that plants aged two years showed signs of attacks in the leaves in a planting located in Rio Manso, which is a city of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. We found two species of mites, Mononychellus sp. and Oligonychus sp., both of the Tetranychidae family. The observed injuries were: wavy leaves, tanning, decreased leaf area and darkening of leaves. This work is the first registration of Mononychellus sp. and Oligonychus sp. mites in K. ivorensis plantations in Brazil.
