Measurement of the forward-backward asymmetries in the production of Ξ and Ω baryons in pp collisions We measure the forward-backward asymmetries AFB of charged Ξ and Ω baryons produced in pp collisions recorded by the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider at √ s = 1.96 TeV as a function of the baryon rapidity y. We find that the asymmetries AFB for charged Ξ and Ω baryons are consistent with zero within statistical uncertainties.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
