A Live Born Child with Triploidy (69,XX Y)Abstract. The ease history of an infant with multiple anomalies is given; the child died 15 rain after delivery. Cultivated fibroblasts from a skin specimen consistently showed a triploidy (69, XXY). In histologie sections of liver and placenta specimens the nuclear areas were enlarged compared with normal controls. There was a single sex-chromatin body in approximately 50 percent of the nuclei of liver as well as of fetal placenta cells.
