The infrared laser absorption spectrum of the bending fundamental of HCO+ has been detected using the velocity modulation technique. Assignment and measurement of 23 transitions yields a band center of 829.721(2) cm−1.
Eighteen lines in the P and R branches of the ν3 band of HCO+ have been measured by diode-laser absorption spectroscopy using a velocity modulation technique. The position of the band center is 2183.9505(51) cm−1.
The infrared diode laser spectrum of the ν2 band of the FO2 radical Nine Pand R components of the fundamental band of 12CI60+ have been measured using velocity modulation detection. Observed spin-rotation splittings are in agreement with calculated values derived from microwave spectroscopy of the ion. The band center lies at 2183.9193(10) cm-I .
