This study presentient model for transient flow of a non-Newtonian power-law fluid in a fractal reservoir. The pressure, pressure derivative, pressure-derivativeto-pressure-ratio and rate behaviour of such a flow system are examined. The model is shown to be useful in the identification and modeling of power-law fluid flow in a fractal reservoir. The model also demonstrates the importance of analyzing both transient pressure and rate data for a single-well situation in such flow systems.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
