SUMMARYThis paper describes the use of high quality seismic data to condition a numerical geological model of the T field, forming the basis for resource assessment and performance prediction. The T field is located in the Malay basin and was discovered in 1979, approximately 200 km offshore Terengganu, Malaysia. The primary non-associated gas (NAG) accumulation in the field is found in the shallow A/B reservoirs. These reservoirs are found at approximately 700m TVDss and consist of lower to middle Miocene siliciclastic sediments.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
