Para pelaku ekonomi di Desa Wabula Kabupaten Buton sedang giat-giatnya mengembangkan Usaha Kain tenun Wabula, namun kegiatannya terkendala oleh beberapa hal yaitu peningkatan penjualan dalam hal ini berkaitan dengan periklanan, produksi masih terbatas, penjualan secara Konvensional, tidak ada pembukuan atas usaha, kurangnya partisipasi generasi muda, Para pelaku usaha ini kurang memiliki keterampilan untuk mempromosikan usahanya yang seharusnya dikonversi menjadi penjualan. Permasalahan tersebut menjadi dasar bagi kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM). Metode Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada masyarakat ini yaitu dengan Analisis Situasi, Koordinasi, Tahap identifikasi solusi permasalahan mitra, dilanjutkan dengan seminar dan pelatihan. Hasil Survey awal, Selama ini sistem promosi yang dilakukan masih promosi tradisional dan terkesan pasif, artinya menunggu pembeli datang. Kesadaran penggunaan internet untuk promosi produk masih sangat rendah. Hal ini disebabkan karena para pengrajin seluruhnya adalah orang tua yang gagap teknologi, untuk itu perlu untuk melibatkan generasi muda melek teknologi. sampai saat ini fokus pengrajin kain tenun masih pada proses produksi dan distribusi, sehingga promosi bukan menjadi prioritas aktivitas bisnis. Alhasil omset yang diperoleh tidak optimal. Terkait pendapatan, pengrajin tidak bisa menyebutkan karena tidak ada pembukuan yang rinci, juga tidak ada target. Minimnya pangsa pasar yang dimiliki. Hal ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya promosi yang dilakukan serta strategi pemasaran masih konvensional. Misalnya, pengrajin hanya mengandalkan produksi sesuai jumlah pesanan, Pengraijn belum memiliki ide-ide untuk menambah rekanan diluar Desa Wabula ataupun memanfaatkan teknologi internet untuk berjualan.
The purpose of this PkM activity is to provide technical guidance to groups of weaving craftsmen regarding the financial management of business units using the SIAPIK application (Financial Information Recording Application Information System). This technical guidance was carried out on a group of weaving craftsmen in the Wabula Traditional Village, Wabula District, Buton Regency with the formulation of the activity theme obtained through a preliminary survey of the weaving craftsman group which was delivered during the visit and the initial discussion between the PkM team and the weaving craftsman group. Based on the results of the discussion, the problems faced by the weaving craftsmen group today are (1) business activities that take place continuously, but there is no profit accounting; (2) limited knowledge of the group of weaving craftsmen regarding the financial management of technology-based business units. This technical guidance is carried out through a Participatory Training approach with a series of preliminary, implementation and evaluation stages. The results of the evaluation of PkM activities showed that the initial understanding of the weaving craftsman group towards financial management was in the range of 40% before the technical guidance was implemented, then increased to 80% after the technical guidance was implemented.

Diabetes mellitus or also called DM is a disease characterized by increased blood glucose levels as a result of the body’s physiological failure to regulate glucose metabolism. The prevalence of people with diabetes mellitus in the world is increasing year by year. Indonesia is ranked with the fourth highest cases of diabetes mellitus in the world. The objective of this study is to identify cases of diabetes mellitus based on gender in the North Buton Regency in the 2017-2020 period. This is a survey research utilizing the health report data of the North Buton Regency Health Office in the 2017-2020 period, which includes data on the DM cases based on gender. The type of research data is numerical. The research data is presented in the form of graphs with narration. The results showed that the number of DM cases in North Buton Regency in 2017 the highest number of DM cases was at the Kulisusu Health Center with 138 cases, in 2018 the highest was at the Waode Buri Health Center with as many as 46 cases, in 2019 the highest DM case number was at the Kulisusu Health Center with as many as 73 cases.
