The system presented here is based on the concept of cognition applied to Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) concerning aspects related to memory, history and decision making over network nodes tasks. The use of cognitive features in the WSN scope allows the routing protocols to make better decisions about conflicts or anomalies generated by node or route fails that probably will affect the performance network as a whole. However, with the use of cognitive aspects regarding feedback processes to make decisions, such as adjustments in memory, queue and table routes, it is possible to obtain an improvement in the data transmitted by nodes. As sequence of this work, other rules, metrics and parameters will be added to the analysis aiming at the algorithm enhancement.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
