The aim of this study was to examine the effect of work alienation on employee turnover intention among the employees in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. Descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional design were used by distributing of (100) self reporting questionnaire, which was consist of three parts; the first part was for the demographical characteristics of the employees, the second part was for the Work Alienation scale and the third part was Anticipated Turnover Scale (ATS). The results revealed that work alienation levels was in a moderate level {mean= 3.13 (SD=.81)}, and a total of 27 (29.3%) employees show the aim of turnover the jobs. Moreover, the regression results reveals that there was a strong significance effect for work alienation on employee turnover intention (r = .729); and (53.1%) of the employee turnover intention could be explained from work alienation. The negative effect of work alienation in the preservation of the expert employees, need more focus and hard work by the human resources departments to take precautionary measures for this negative effect.
The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of Web Quality (WebQual) on travelers’ online behavioral intentions through examining the mediating role of travelers’ perceived trust in the context of travel agencies in Jordan. Based on the extant literature, a conceptual model was developed. Data was collected through a questionnaire survey which was administered to a convenient sample of 300 participants. Structural equation modeling SEM with smart PLS 3 was implemented as an analytical methodology to process data. The results suggest that WebQual factors are significant in predicting travelers’ behavioral intentions. Moreover, the results demonstrate that perceived trust has a significant impact on travelers’ behavioral intentions and a partial mediation was also found for travelers’ perceived trust on the relationship between WebQual and travelers’ behavioral intentions. Discussion, conclusions, research limitations and areas for future research are all provided.
The study aims to develop a research model to identify the requirements of knowledge management in the mining sector from the perspective of employees, by examining the relationship between knowledge management requirements (organizational culture, management leadership, organizational structure and information technology) and the application of knowledge management in the mining sector, in order to determine the reality of knowledge management requirements in Jordanian phosphate in the development, management, production and manufacture of phosphates resulting in more efficient production, while the study made several recommendations, such as holding a series of workshops and conferences to introduce a knowledge management culture, designing a central database in various sectors, including the mining industry, to store and exchange knowledge, focusing on infrastructure and technology and allocating financial and intellectual resources. This is to establish effective communication networks in the mining sector.
The study aims to investigate the usage of Balanced Scorecard as a tool to evaluate the performance of the University of Jordan/Aqaba branch from the perspective of academic members. In order to achieve the objectives of the study and test hypotheses, the study relied on primary and secondary data, where the questionnaire was designed to reconnaissance the opinion of the sample of (65) members, the study was based on the analytical descriptive method and analysis of study variables and test hypotheses. One of the most important results of the study, the University is working to keep pace with scientific development through the development of academic programs and to ensure that the development of new programs according to scientific requirements, which has enabled the possibility of application of the performance of Balanced Scorecard, as noted, the cost of time courses at the university, which is obvious in the level of academic and administrative services submitted to the students that greatly increase the tuition fees for students in colleges, the university strives heavily on the development of their role and to highlight the reputation and efficiency among all Arab and international universities, and is working to develop a relationship with alumni and follow up on their situation, but it faces some difficulties due to the economic conditions Journal of Social Sciences (COES&RJ-JSS), 10(2), pp.232-247 233 that prevent without the possibility of absorption of graduates into the labor market. The most important recommendations of the study is that University has to work to intensify efforts to further develop and to elevate the Balanced Scorecard to the rank of international universities besides the university administration serving to check the tuition fees for students and work on the budget with the services provided to them taking into consideration the social situations, as well as to increase the voltage in the follow-up conditions of graduates and to work up creating jobs for them.
