The human life interesting is the main important of world health care. The plant family has vigorous of natural element and chemical compounds that can use greatly in medicine and other applications. This study involved used the beetroots for elevated the hemoglobin percentage in adult patients suffering with anemia that resulting from iron deficiency .Because the Beta vulgaris provides B-complex vitamins and minerals ex. potassium, copper and magnesium. This study sample composed of ( 34) patients who randomly distributed to three unequal groups (man womencontrol). The results showed significant (P< 0.05) with RBC, Hb and PCV elevating in all patients and woman have increasing more than men.
This study was conducted to find out the therapeutic effect of Omega-3 and the zinc oxide nano-loaded propylthiouracil drug in the treatment of thyroxine-induced hyperthyroidism. The results show a significant increased (p<0.05) in serum of Triiodothyronine(T3) and Thyroxine (T4) hormones with a decreased Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) level in T1 group compared with the control group. On the other hand, the results showed a significant decrease (P < 0.05) in (T3) and (T4) with increased (TSH) levels in (T2, T3) groups compared to (T1) group. There was a significant (p < 0.05) increase in the level of Malondialdehyde (MDA)with a decrease in the level of antioxidants Glutathione (GSH), Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Catalase (CAT) in the (T1) group in comparison with the control group. Also, the results showed a significant (p < 0.05) decrease in the level of MDA with an increase in the level of antioxidants (GSH, SOD, CAT) in the (T2, T3) groups as compared to the (T1) group. The results of the current study showed that there was a significant increase (P < 0.05) in the level of Alanine aminotransferase (ALT), Aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in the (T1) group as compared to (C) group, also, these results showed a significant (p < 0.05) decrease in the level of ALP, ALT, AST in the (T2, T3) groups compared to (T1) group. Several methods were used in the examination of the drug propylthiouracil nano-loaded on zinc oxide, as they included the following tests on the Fourier transform infrared Spectroscopy (FT – IR) and X-ray diffraction X-ray diffraction spectrum (XRD) as well as the use of atomic force microscope Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), the process of intercalation of the drug between layers of zinc oxide was carried out by the direct ion exchange method. This technique showed that propylthiouracil gave spectra indicating the success of the intercalation process, which was used in the subsequent stages of the study
The current study is conducted in Al-Diwaniyah and Al-Najaf provinces from the period of January - October 2020. The aim of study is determining the prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii in the sera of women with breast cancer by detecting specific antibodies of T. gondii using an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and DNA of parasite using a polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The study included 110 blood samples divided into two groups; 60 samples from women with breast cancer who checked in Al-Diwaniyah teaching hospital (center of cancer disease and oncology), and from Middle Euphrates cancer center in Al Najaf province and control group (50 samples) were taken from women without breast cancer. The total number of positive samples to ELISA test were 38 samples (63.33%), 22 samples of them were positive forT. gondii IgG (36.6%) with a significant difference (P< 0.05) and 16 samples (26.6%) were positive forT. gondii IgM. In control group (Noncancerous women) the total number of positive samples to ALISA test were 19 samples (38%), 9 samples were positive for T. gondii IgG (18%) and 10 samples were positive forT.gondii IgM (20%). The study also included detection of T. gondii DNA in the positive samples for ELISA, The results of PCR Tanique was detection of T. gondii DNA in 20 samples out of 22 samples that were IgG positive (90.9%) and in 15samples out of 16 samples that were positive of T. gondii IgM by ELISA (93.7%).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
