Statistics models are effective to describe the relation of strain-stress of rock. But the constitutive relations in the statistical models are too simple for rock. Using the Eshelby equivalent inclusion method, a Helmholtz free energy for e damage rock is set up in the present paper. A constitutive model for damage rock is set up . The presented model is verified as reasonable and practical with comparion to the experiment data.
The seepage field of tailings pond is analyzed. Based on the result distribution of hydraulic head and velocity in the dam body, seismic analysis is carried out for the tailings pond in steady flow state. Three seismic waves are input and the safety factors of dam under seismic action are also achieved. The results show that the safety factor will decrease 9%~16% with the seismic intensity increase one degree.
The finite element analysis model of Zhuziqing tailings pond is established by using the finite element method (FEM) analysis software ANSYS based on hydrological conditions, engineering geological conditions, tailings silt dynamic triaxial test results and the foundation rock-soil wave velocity tests results. Then it was studied that the dynamic characteristics and dynamic response of Zhuziqing tailings dam under seismic loads. Results show that dynamic shear modulus of tailings silt increase as dynamic shear strain decreasing and increase as the increasing of confining pressure or consolidation ratio under the condition of isotropic or anisotropic consolidation. But the variation law on damping ratio of tailings silt is just opposite to that of dynamic shear modulus. Results also show that under the dynamic peak acceleration 0.2g of seismic wave, response acceleration of Zhuziqing tailings embankment reached the peak at the time of 2.58s, and the response peak acceleration is 5.24m/s2 at the top of this tailings embankment.
According to recent development of environmental geotechnical engineering, Some characteristics and related disciplines of geotechnical engineering are summarized and elaborated. Environmental geotechnology views and appropriate countermeasures are proposed, and urban construction of environmental geotechnical problems are briefly analysed. By emphasizing potential environmental geotechnology , further development and improvement for theories and pratices can be obtained.
