Motorcyclists are spoiled and motivated to increase the speed of their vehicles as quickly as possible to support their mobility, regardless of other road users. There are already rules regarding road speed limits contained in the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number PM.111 of 2015 concerning procedures for setting speed limits, so that vehicle drivers must drive their vehicles according to the speed set based on these rules. Determination of speed limits on a road is intended to prevent the occurrence and fatality of accidents and maintain traffic mobility. Can the engine capacity of a motorbike affect the behavior of motorcyclists such as increasing vehicle speed, using helmets, turning on the main lights and using communication devices. The method is carried out by analyzing traffic performance and analyzing the behavior of motorists when driving a motorbike which is influenced by the use of motorbikes based on engine capacity, namely 100cc, 150cc and ≥200cc as well as violations of motorbike riders using data from motorcycle users who cross the road. Inspection Kalimalang, Bekasi. From the analysis carried out, the performance of the Kalimalang Inspection road, Bekasi has a level of service E with a v/c ratio of 0.77, an average speed of 37 km/hour and a road density of 51.95 and an analysis of the relationship between engine capacity and driver behavior shows the results that the motorcycle engine capacity affects the behavior of motorists in driving a motorcycle on the highway with a significance F 0.000 <0.05, and violations on the Kalimalang, Bekasi inspection road are dominated by motorcycle riders with engine capacities of 150cc to 250 cc as many as 627 riders.
Penelitian ini mengkaji legalitas kendaraan bermotor roda tiga sebagai angkutan penumpang dan barang berdasarkan hukum normatif di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah hukum normatif atau doktrinal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kendaraan bermotor roda tiga sebagai angkutan penumpang diatur dalam PM 177 Tahun 2018 Pasal 33 yang menyatakan penggunaan angkutan roda tiga hanya pada kawasan tertentu. Penggunaan kendaraan roda tiga sebagai angkutan barang dilakukan pada kondisi tertentu yang dijelaskan dalam PP 60 Tahun 2019. Berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan menunjukkan pelanggaran dari segi spek teknis kendaraan dan penggunaan kendaraan roda tiga yang tidak sesuai dengan kegunaan. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan sebagai kajian hukum dalam penggunaan kendaraan bermotor roda tiga sebagai angkutan penumpang dan angkutan barang di Indonesia.
