Structural and dielectric properties of zinc cobalt oxide ( ZnCo 2 O 4 ) ceramics AIP Conf.Enhanced piezoelectric properties of lead zirconate titanate sol-gel derived ceramics using single crystal PbZr 0.52 Ti 0.48 O 3 cubes Abstract. This paper reports the dielectric properties of the Mn doped CaCu 3 Ti 4 O 12 (CCTO) ceramics synthesized by the conventional solid-state reaction method. By partial Mn for Ti substitution, the dielectric loss was suppressed significantly while the dielectric constant (H r ) still remained high. The compound CaCu 3 Ti 3.76 Mn 0.24 O 12 exhibits a high H r (>1200) and a low dielectric loss (<0.06 at room temperature). Furthermore, the H r value of this material is reasonably independent of temperature. SEM micrographs show no impurity in the Mn doped CCTO ceramics, which exhibit dense microstructures without abnormal grains. This CaCu 3 Ti 4-x Mn x O 12 system appears to be a promising candidate for capacitor applications.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
