Novel nano-materials, nano-cellulose containing reactive polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes with multi-N-methylol (R-POSS), were used for adsorption reactive dyes from dyeing wastewater solution. Langmuir isotherm mathematical model and Freundlich nonlinear isotherm model on the nano-cellulose were analyzed. Two reactive dyes, Reactive Yellow B-4RFN, Reactive Blue B-RN, were used in this study. The results showed that the adsorption capacity of nano-cellulose for reactive dyes was significantly higher than that of control cellulose.i
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
