A green and efficient regioselective dehydrative Friedel‐Crafts arylation of trifluorinated 3‐indolyl(2‐thiophenyl) methanols with 2‐substituted indoles, catalyzed by DBSA (dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid) in water is described. This simple and atom‐economical protocol features a unique regioselective 1,8‐addition, operational simplicity, mild conditions, excellent functional group compatibility, and environmental benignity.
Baeyer–Villiger-type oxidation of α-iodocyclopentenones to α-pyrones using air as an environmentally benign oxidant under catalyst- and additive-free conditions is described.
An efficient synthetic method to prepare architecturally challenging spiro tetrahydro‐3H‐dicyclopenta[a,b]naphthalene derivatives from Au(I)‐catalyzed intramolecular sequential cycloisomerization of linear 1,3,9‐ene‐allene‐ynes is described. The proposed cycloisomerization pathway involves an initial gold‐catalyzed 1,3‐ene‐allene cycloisomerization, followed by a formal [4+2] cycloaddition to give fused spirocarbocyclic products containing a quaternary centre.
At present, artificial intelligence painting technology is in an era of prosperity and development. The “transformation” of artificial intelligence painting works has brought challenges to the traditional fair use system, and characterization as fair use may lead to an imbalance of interests. It is necessary to re-examine the rationality of qualifying the use of artificial intelligence paintings as fair use. At the same time, analyze the infringement risk in the painting process in combination with the painting principles of artificial intelligence, and put forward some regulatory suggestions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
