Float polishing is one of the advanced ultra-smooth surface polishing techniques. Mechanical structure and polishing principle of float polishing are introduced. Polishing experiment about polishing ultra-smooth surface of GCr15 rectangular workpiece is performed by the CJY500 ultra-precision polishing machine, experimental results show that float polishing should be achieved metal nanometer level surface without degenerating layer. The application scope of float polishing is extended, the application has significant reference value for polishing ultra-smooth surface of metal workpiece.
Single-row layout is widely used within GT cells, in facilities that implement JIT, and sometimes with FMS. The three types of single-row layout, including linear, U-shape, and semi-circular layout are introduced firstly. Based on the lower selling price of customers’ demand, the components of manufacturing cost are analyzed secondly. Then the relationship between the manufacturing cost and objectives of single-row layout are described. Meanwhile, the models related to several parts of manufacturing cost of single-row layout are set up respectively. Finally, the simulation of these models for three types of single-row layout is running in QUEST. After analyzing the simulation results, conclusions are obtained: (1) area and labor utilization of linear layout are higher than the others, (2) material handling cost of semi-circular is lowest among these three types of single-row layout, and (3) equipment utilization of them are almost the same. This research results will provide the references in selecting the types of single-row layout based on manufacturing cost.
With the aim of drawing the knowledge map and understanding the research hotspot on intelligent system, the articles published from 2010 to 2015 have been searched with the keyword "intelligent system" based on the Web of Science database. The knowledge map of intelligent system was drawn by utilizing the CiteSpace software. Active countries / regions, institutions and research hotspots of intelligent system have been reached. The result shows that the United States, Europe and Asia are the most active areas of intelligent system studies; Islamic Azad University is on the top of research agencies in number of articles. From the perspective of the key words, power-systems, sliding-mode control, waves, supervisory control and traffic flow have the highest centrality; from the point of article co-citation analysis, the humanoid intelligent robot, the traffic flow management, the vibration are the hotspots of research in the field of intelligent system.
