For running trains according to timetable, it is very important to arrange appropriate arrival and departure tracks to trains transacted by passenger dedicated line station. Builds optimized model of arrival and departure track utilization, the optimization objective is maximizing the sum of weights of trains using tracks, and having the most balanced utilization schedule. For constraints, it is different from existing railway station that the two turnaround trains share the same train-set must be arranged to the same arrival and departure track, and this paper considers the constraint seriously. Taking Beijing South Railway Station inter-city yard as an instance, use the method put forward in this paper to calculate the arrival and departure track utilization schedule. Compared with existing schedule, the result calculated makes the arrival and departure track utilization more balanced.
This paper introduced the Bin Packing Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem. It introduced the constraints and differences between algorithms of two-dimensional and three-dimensional loading capacitated vehicle routing problem. It gave a review of models and algorithms for Bin Packing Capacitated VRP. Finally, it prospected future research orientations and possible improvement in this area.
Along with the acceleration of city-urbanization and industrialization process of the cities, city traffic demand increases rapidly. This provides a good development opportunity for the urban traffic and also brings new challenges for the urban traffic at the same time. In addition, the demands for the public transport service quality are becoming more and more strictly for the growth of residents’ travel and the improvement of life quality, the problems in the public transport system have become the main aspects that restrict the development of the urban public transport system. So the advantages of BRT in the optimization of the network are becoming more and more significant.
The paper introduces two methods of designing the number of berths of road-side bus stop, queue theory and regression analysis theory. Take Beijing Weigongcun bus stop as an example. On one hand, use queue theory to calculate service index to get reasonable number of berths considering the vehicle arrival disciplinarian. On the other hand, use linear and non-liner regressive analysis to calculate reasonable number of berths though analysing the 4 independent factors, which influence the parking capability of bus stop. At last, contrastively analyze the two methods on advantages, disadvantages and applicable conditions in connection with practice to make up for the comparison research field.
There are limited number of ports accessing to port areas directly so far, therefore, trucks need be used to accomplish the process of the transportation from the port to the container centeral station after container arriving the port.At the same time, the container handling stations's number is limited, the specialization is in low degree and the amount of container unit train stock is deficient, above all they are the principal factors contributed to the overstock of product on ports. Therefore, it should speed up the construction of the pilot station, especially the building of railway lines directly through the port connecting the loading and unloading lines and the main railway lines, achieve the itergration of crunodes and lines in crunode-line combination network. This paper illustrate the elements of railway-waterway intermodal transportation network with crunode-line combination and construct through transportation network rationalization model based on virtual network, in addition, discuss the importance of the enterprice alliance to the development of railway-waterway intermodal transportation.
