Crowd counting is a challenging task in crowded scenes due to heavy occlusions, appearance variations and perspective distortions. Current crowd counting methods typically operate on an image patch level with overlaps, then sum over the patches to get the final count. In this paper we describe a real-time pedestrian counting framework based on a two-stage human detection algorithm. Existing works with overhead cameras is mainly based on visual tracking, and their robustness is rather limited. On the other hand, some works, which focus on improving the performances, are too complicated to be realistic. By adopting a line sampling process, a temporal slice image can be obtained for pedestrian counting without the need for visual tracking. Only ten low level features are extracted from the input image to establish a feature vector. As a result, our algorithm is more efficient and accurate than existing methods. Pedestrians in the temporal slice image are then located by the two-stage detection algorithm, which is largely based on support vector machine and affinity propagation clustering. Moreover, a novel algorithm is proposed to determine the moving directions of pedestrians by comparing the centers of them in two temporal slice images. Extensive experiments reveal that our system achieves satisfaction performances in terms of both robustness and efficiency.
This paper aims to explore the Painting Classification in art teaching under Machine Learning. Based on Emotional Semantics and Machine Learning, the Emotional Semantics of the traditional image are expounded. Firstly, Emotional Semantics are applied to figure painting in art teaching. Then, the convolutional sparse automatic encoder model is introduced in Painting Classification. Finally, the accuracies of the Painting Classification of the Support Vector Machine classifier (SVMC) and that of the Naive Bayes classifier are compared, and the relevant conclusions are drawn. The accuracy of Painting Classification is positively correlated with the scale of painting. After analysis, the painting set is classified in a ratio of 2 : 1, with 2/3 as training set and 1/3 as test set, which is conducive to the good accuracy of classification. In Machine Learning, proper whitening can improve the accuracy of Painting Classification to a certain extent. However, when the whitening treatment coefficient is selected, it cannot be too large, and the average pooling is more accurate than maximum pooling. After the comparison of the new SVMC, the Naive Bayes classifier, and the convolutional sparse automatic encoder, the convolutional sparse automatic encoder has the highest accuracy of Painting Classification. Therefore, the Painting Classification in art teaching under Machine Learning is explored, which is of great help to the classification work of students or teachers in the future.
Anchang Decoction is an empirical prescription for the treatment of ulcerative colitis in China. In order to better understand its therapeutic function, considerable efforts have been made to determine its chemical composition and to reveal the efficacy of its main components. However, the molecular mechanism of their combination remains unclear. Proteomic applications have yielded some positive results in drug development and identification of potential drug targets, demonstrating the potential of this analytical approach to explore the molecular mechanistic effects of herbal formulations by robustfully addressing dynamic proteomic changes. Label-free quantification and parallel reaction monitoring were used to identify differentially expressed proteins in colonic tissues of rats with ulcerative colitis, which were fed Anchang decoction and mesalazine, respectively. A total of 1,182 proteins were identified in the study. GO and KEGG analysis showed that the cytoskeleton protein and cytochrome P450 protein changed significantly with the development of ulcerative colitis. At the same time, the antigen-binding protein and antioxidant related protein fluctuated sharply with mesalazine and Anchang decoction. Based on parallel response monitoring analysis, KRT8, MYH11, FLNA and LMNA were also confirmed to be involved in the formation of ulcerative colitis. The increase in FGG in a rat model of ulcerative colitis was due to mesalazine, whereas the increase in KRT8 was due to Anchang decoction. The results of this study provide insights into the mechanism of action of Anchang decoction, which becomes an effective technical pipeline for understanding the world's herbal medicines.
