A wet friction clutch friction discs is taken as the research object in this paper, the heat flux density and the convective heat transfer coefficient are calculated, and thermal distribution of the the friction discs and the separator discs are considered. An analysis about the transient heat generation and thermal-structural coupling analysis of friction discs during sliding processes are simulated using APDL (ANSYS parametric design language), the temperature field and stress field of friction discs are obtained, and regularities of distribution is studied spatially and historically. The results provide the basis for the design, optimization and application of friction discs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
