Many gas reservoirs with high H 2 S content have been found in China, such as Luojiazhai Gas Field and Puguang Gas Field, and they play an important role in China's natural gas industry. However, there are a series of serious problems in production of these gas reservoirs, such as H 2 S poison, strong corrosion, and sulfur deposition. Therefore, it is important to gas flowing theory study on gas reservoirs with high H 2 S content. This paper discusses sour gas flow and sulfur deposition. Based on the experimental work and aerodynamics gas-solid flow theory, threedimensional multi-component mathematical model for sour gas reservoir is developed. In the model, factors of affecting sulfur particle deposition has been studied, including gas flow rate, initial H 2 S concentration and formation permeability.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
