The article deals with the possibility of using feed additives in the feeding of broiler chickens and the peculiarities of their effect on the poultry organism. Contemporary data on the biological role of nutrients and energy in the feeding of broiler chickens are presented. The characteristics of the main feeds for poultry and the ways of reducing their prime cost in the conditions of broiler farms are given. The basic principles of effective feeding of poultry with forages of different content of metabolic energy and crude protein are considered, taking into account their assimilation in the body. Provided compound feed recipes and practical tips. It is established that high growth rate of broiler chickens in the start and groove periods (5–39 days) is provided by high-protein compound feeds – 23% (1–2 weeks), 21% (3–5 weeks) and exchange energy of 298 kcal and 305 kcal, respectively. With further cultivation in the finish forage the protein content in the forage decreases and the level of metabolic energy increases (up to 309 kcal). However, for each cross applies its own technology of cultivation and different rates of nutrients in raw materials. It is clear that effective breeding of broiler chickens is not possible without the proper rationing and use of protein and feed energy. Of course, provided that the supply of biologically active substances also corresponds to the normalized amount. Thus, the quality of poultry products is directly dependent on the quality of feed and the efficiency of transformation of feed energy into products.
The article the question of influence of feeding of the mixed fodders of different producers is considered on efficiency of growing of chickens-broilers. Results of research activities of efficiency of application of forage additions and basic forage are brought at growing of chickens-broilers in the conditions of poultry factory of the western region. It is determined that the combination of grain-growing components and concentrate 5 % LNB, that is added to the bulk of the mixed fodder, improves the power and biological value of the mixed fodders, in particular promotes genetic potential of modern cross-country race of “Ross-308”. Compounding the mixed fodders is brought and efficiency of application of concentrate is studied in feeding of chickens-broilers. Application of high-quality concentrate 5 % LNB in feeding of poultry provides more rationally and the economy use of feed. The results of researches are expounded in relation to the use of ВVMD and concentrate of LNB of different producers in feeding of chickens-broilers. It is determined that at application in the mixed fodders of concentrate 5 % LNB the productivity rises for chickens-broilers, the stored gets better to the sapling/pl and the charges of feed go down on unit of products. The mixed fodder is made from own feed raw material with addition of ВVMD, has more subzero productive action, however gives an opportunity to realize the modern level of genetic potential of the productivity of chickens-broilers of cross-country race of “Ross-308”. Use of concentrate of LNB in composition the mixed fodder, content of fat and albumen promote in pectoral muscles. Maybe anymore chickens-broilers consumed raw protein with a feed due to premix of LNB, the anymore albumen accumulated in pectoral muscles. Addition in the complement of premix of LNB of phytase protein of feed allows more effectively to use by a bird and to convert him into albumens of the products. The effective growing of chickens-broilers is impossible without the correct use of feed raw material, application and dosage of premix, quality mixing with a feed and technology of feeding of poultry.
Currently, humanity owes great thanks to nature before the protection that nature has created is to protect the newborn. A person is born not sterile, but with protective appropriate antibodies transmitted from the mother. Antibodies, in the human body, have the ability to penetrate the placenta, and with blood flow, to be transmitted with maternal colostrum and milk. Unfortunately, not all living things have this advantage. Pigs are born sterile unless they are infected with viruses and toxins that have the ability to penetrate the placenta. In this case, they are sterile and defenseless, the whole environment is dangerous for them, and in this case there is no immunity and inevitable death. Therefore, after birth, the pigs themselves, or with the help of a sow that pushes them to the nipples with a snout, or an operator who receives farrowing, as soon as they try to drink precious colostrum, which loses its protective capacity every hour. The sow's colostrum contains not only nutritional, energy components, but also a more important component – Immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulins contained in colostrum provide piglets with passive immunity, but not all. Why? This is because the farrow is usually stretched or pathological. Pigs are born unevenly, so they eat colostrum differently. The last piglets, at birth, get the least amount of colostrum, or not enough at all. In addition, the quality of colostrum and the amount of immunoglobulins depend on the sow's age, the number of farrowing, whether the sows are vaccinated before farrowing, and the presence of viral pathogens and their vaccination. A good practice for pigs in the world, as well as in Ukraine, is the use of the Globigen Pig Dozer, which is given to the pigs orally to increase passive immunity and provide protection against viruses and bacteria.
Purpose. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of using IgY immunoglobulins contained in the feed additive “Globigen Life Start” for 75 days of rearing calves. Methods. In the process of the research general scientific methods were used: deduction, scientific hypothesis and abstraction. The method of groups-analogues for conducting researches on animals was used as well. Methods of variation statistics were applied for processing the obtained experimental results. Results. “Globigen Life Start” is a yellowish powder that contains egg immunoglobulins IgY and dextrose. This supplement contains specific IgY immunoglobulins, the action of which is aimed at prevention and neutralization of the following pathogens: Coronavirus, Rotavirus, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, S. typhimurium & dublin, Clostridia types A & C. The preparation is recommended to be given with colostrum, milk or in prestart feed. “Globigen Life Start” is thermostable and can withstand heating temperatures up to 80°C, which allows it to be used in granular feed. Regular use of the drug allows to get a healthy herd with normal technological growth, to minimize the addition of antibiotics and to reduce possible weight loss due to diarrhea. This feed supplement can be used from birth to 12 weeks of age. Conclusions. When studying the effect of using the feed additive “Globigen Life Start”, which contains specific immunoglobulins IgY for the prevention and treatment of bacterial infection in calves, it was found that its feeding in the amount of 10 g per head once a day during one of the drinks helps to reduce morbidity of calves from diarrhea by 22.7%.
The article provides data on modern lamb production systems and factors affecting their quality. In order to obtain high-quality lamb, a mineral-phytobiotic additive was developed, which includes sulfate and sodium metasilicate as sources of sulfur and silicon, and a phytobiotic additive containing chili pepper, which has a fungicidal effect and exhibits antibacterial properties, intensifying the digestion process, cinnamon essential oil, which contributes to the normalization of the composition of the intestinal microflora and its stabilization. Carvacrol, contained in oregano oil, exhibits antibacterial and antifungal properties; thanks to this, it can be a good antiseptic, killing parasites that cause intestinal dysfunction. The best result was the addition of such a mixture in the amount of 1.8 % to the compound feed for young sheep in rearing from 10 days to 255 days of age. In order to study the influence of the mineral-phytobiotic supplement on growth intensity and meat quality, sheep were weighed at one day, 60, 100, 135, 180, and 255 days of age. In order to control the slaughter indicators of meat productivity, they were slaughtered at the age of 255 days (8.5 months, lamb category), since the meat of these animals is consumable. The taste properties of the meat were also assessed by tasting. As a result of the controlled slaughter, it was established that the addition of 1.8 % of the mineral-phytobiotic additive increased the live weight by 18.68 %, the slaughter weight by 22.87 %, the weight of the steamed carcass by 21.5 %, the chilled by 22.29 % of the slaughter yield by 3.52 %. Along with the increase in overall productivity, the chemical composition of lamb meat changed. In particular, protein level increased by 4.22 %, dry matter by 6.09 %, and ash by 11.25 %. The calorie content of meat increased by 2.47 %, and the protein/fat ratio approached 1 : 0.75 and was 1 : 0.79. The definition of taste qualities indicates that the meat of young animals is lighter and more delicate to taste. The nutritional value and dietary properties of meat were determined by color, tenderness, aroma, taste, juiciness, and appearance. The taste qualities of sheep were assessed by tasting. According to the organoleptic assessment, the meat from sheep of both groups had a pleasant smell, tender and juicy. According to the general assessment, the meat of the experimental group is excellent, and that of the control group is very good.
