The widespread use of fuel oil stimulates the development of fuel additives to improve its technological properties. In this work, the parameters of the explosiveness of the technology for obtaining an additive based on the use of industrial alcohols are estimated. The schemes of development of typical scenarios of accidents have been developed, zones of destruction of buildings and structures and zones of damage by thermal radiation from the flame boundary have been determined for the accepted conditions. The research results can be used in the design and implementation of the technology for producing fuel oil additives based on flammable liquids.
One of the fundamental principles of sustainable development is sustainable electric power supply to consumers. The implementation of this principle is possible only with guaranteed safety of electric power networks. Forecasting of possible threats is one of the tools to reduce the fault rate of technological equipment. Emergency shutdowns are largely caused by meteorological factors. The instability of meteorological conditions can lead to significant negative consequences for human life and activities. For forecasting and diagnosing meteorological conditions, it is advisable to use a territorial geo information system (GIS). Safety management processes requires the process creation with predefined properties. For safety management, it is recommended to use synthesisbased models, which makes it possible to apply an approach based on solving the inverse management problem. As a result of the study, the safety management technology of electric power networks based on the use of GIS was developed. The research considers threats caused by the impact of meteorological factors. In particular, some problems arising under the influence on the control object of environmental temperature, wind, and thunderstorm were analyzed. The presented simulation of safety management processes allows to guarantee reliable and safe electric power supply to consumers.

The development of the Arctic shelf involves the development of mineral resources and monitoring of the environmental situation in the Far North with the implementation of work outdoors in extremely adverse weather conditions. In this case, it is necessary to take into account the stable constancy of negative temperatures. Work on a rotational basis does not solve this problem. This article proposes a methodology for taking into account environmental parameters when assessing the working conditions of nonstationary workplace. As an example, an assessment is given of the workplace of the lineman of main pipeline. It is proposed to use geographic information systems as a technology that allows determining environmental parameters. The responsible person quickly and thoroughly evaluates the work environment based on the existing spatial reference of information to various non-stationary workplaces. The proposed method for assessing and optimizing the time of work will not only minimize technological risks as a whole, but also minimize the damage to the health of workers who are forced to perform work in extremely adverse conditions.
