We evaluate I = 2 two-pion scattering length through the scattering amplitude obtained by the Bethe-Salpeter wave function inside the interaction range. The scattering length is computed with m π = 0.52 − 0.86 GeV in the quenched lattice QCD. Furthermore, the half-off-shell amplitude is calculated, from which the effective range is extracted. Our results are compared with those by the conventional finite size method and by chiral perturbation theory to confirm consistency.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
