The atomic mass excesses of ' Zr and ' Mo were determined to be -77.807+0.031 and -72. 703+0.021 MeV from the measured Q values of -40. 136+0.030 and -43.278+0.020 MeV for the Zr(a, He)' Zr(g. s.) and Mo(a, 'He) Mo(g. s.) reactions. The results were compared with some predicted values.
The performance tests were done for a 1.6 cell s-band BNL-type photocathode RF electron gun, GUN-IV, under a condition of 1.5MW RF power input and 266nm Nd:YAG laser pulse irradiation. As a result, the maximum energy and the maximum charge/ bunch were obtained as 1.6 MeV and 120 pC/bunch, respectively. In addition, a sinusoidal behavior of current with the polarization angle of laser light were measured. Furthermore, the change in current as a function of laser injection phase was measured and reasonably reproduced by a numerical calculation.
The atomic mass excesses of '~Pb,~Po, Rn, ' Ra, and ' Th were determined to be -26.262+0.015, -18.352+0.015, -9.667+0.015, -0.208+0.015, and 10.287+0.017 MeV, respectively. They were obtained from the measured Q value of -28.043+0.013 MeV for the Pb(a, 'He) Pb (g.s.) reaction and the known alpha-decay g values. The results were compared with some predicted values.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
